A musical performance with the greatest hits of the Wasowski – Przybora duo.
A performance in tribute to the outstanding composer Jerzy Wasowski. It is a humorous musical performance referring to the style of the Elderly Gentlemen’s Cabaret. On stage, a real contemporary diva – Justyna Steczkowska and Wojciech Malajkat, perfectly finding themselves in the subtle play with words, so characteristic of Jeremi Przybora’s lyrics.
The director of the performance was Krzysztof Jaślar, the creator of the titles so liked by the audience of Syrena: “Let’s come back like in the old days. Songs of Master Jurandot”, “Assassination of the Mocart” and “The Children of Bullerbyn”.
From the voluminous volumes of songs by the Wasowski-Przybora tandem, the greatest hits were selected for the audience, m.in. “Because there is sex in me”, “Family”, “Kaziu fall in love” or “Wesołe jest życie staruszka”, so that they would remember the evening with the “Songbook” as entertainment in the best style.
