“Grzegorz Ciechowski – Meeting with the Legend” unique concerts dedicated to Grzegorz Ciechowski.
After the success of the concert at the Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw, which turned into a concert CD/DVD, it was decided to repeat the concerts in six cities, so that the event would be available to a wider audience.
The leading Polish performers, accompanied by the Adam Sztaba Orchestra and the Polish Film Music Orchestra under the baton of Adam Sztaba, set off on a journey through all periods of Grzegorz Ciechowski’s work. On one stage, some of the artists we know from the album containing the premiere concert and new ones who did not participate in the recording in 2014, including: Justyna Steczkowska, Kasia Kowalska, Natalia Nykiel, Paulina Przybysz, Kasia Wilk, Igor Herbut, Piotr Cugowski, Skubas, Damian Ukeje, met.
When I took up this challenge, I started the first song, then the second and it turned out that a beautiful story began.
Adam Sztaba’s orchestrations reflect the character of individual performers, preserving the spirit of Grzegorz Ciechowski’s works.
A unique attraction of this event was the multimedia form of the concert. In Jacek Kościuszko’s film illustrations, dedicated to each of the songs, starred, among others, Bruno Ciechowski, who impersonated the ghost of his father.
The concert was produced by Royal Concert in cooperation with Przemysław Wałczuk from Varsovia Lab.
