A concert promoting the double album “Anima” by Justyna Steczkowska, which took place on March 7, 2017 at the Shakespeare Theatre.
Justyna Steczkowska about the album:
– I decided to release it on Women’s Day. “Anima” – means soul, this word encapsulates the whole description of this album. It is certainly closer to women, it takes them on a journey through their own thoughts, feelings, inspires them to act. I hope it will be a beautiful gift.
“Anima” is a soul enchanted in melodies. Original compositions dressed in modern, surprising sounds of cosmic electronics, set in the vast spaces of the Silesian Art Collective orchestra. Extraordinary texts written by exceptional people: Katarzyna Nosowska, Bela Komoszyńska, Michał Pańszczyk, Ifi Ude and many others. This is an album about man in the context of the universe. Insightful, sensual, emotional; Magic. The recordings took place in one of the most modern studios in the world – Alverni.
