Out of over 1500 traditional Jewish compositions, Ewa Gil-Kołakowska chose only 15 – the most beautiful and unique. They were on the album “Alkimja”. Among them was also “Świt, świt!” – the opening track of the album. Its new sound was prepared by Mateusz Pospieszalski, and the lyrics, reminding, m.in others, of the Sephardic tradition and Ashkenazi Army, replied Roman Kołakowski. On the single, in addition to the album version of the song, there are also two radio versions.
